I really never thought I would do this sort of thing. I am more of the “behind-the-scenes kind-a girl”, but when they asked me to run this year I couldn’t say no. Over the last few months, I’ve been working with the Children Shelter on a couple projects. I have learned so much about what they do, so I was excited to be apart of it.
What does it mean to run for Queen of the Ball? It means raising money. As much money as I can until March 28th at 12:00 pm. Over the next few months I am going to be calling on your help. We are going to be throwing some fun events so be ready for them!
We kicked everything off last Friday with a cocktail fundraiser and a tour of the HGTV Dream Home. If anyone wants to help or has any fun ways to raise lots of money for the kids, e-mail me.
